To me, latex is akin to fine silk, great leather or an impeccable wool – it’s a luxury material. And even though we offer over sixty styles in our collections, we understand being truly chic means being able to use every inch of your wardrobe conventionally and beyond. Our For The Tongue In Chic episodes (sorry for the infrequency guys!) weren’t just way too fun – digital collages for the win! They were also meant as a bit of insight into my design philosophy.

I paired a very light silk/cashmere blend black minidress with a vintage style Frederick’s bustier, vintage skinny belt and my House Of Bias Bow “Lips” Brooch. We started with an easy piece. The next episode will be a bit more latex heavy

RIE HOSOKAI of Daisy’s Balloons completely amazes me. The fragility and intricacies of the Rie’s pieces remind me of the hand crafted laces of the past. Balloons of this kind are usually latex based so it’s nice to see our favorite material take yet another shape. This world famous balloon artist has been featured countless times for her work. Check out a few pieces we were able to find on the net of her work!
