I am a firm believer in saving where it counts and splurging on the necessities   Items that outlast the test of time are well worth it… Louis Vuitton, Karen Walker glasses, Ferragamo shoes…  When it comes to furniture though, you could find a mirror at Ikea for 85 bucks but will it have as much character as the one pictured above?  Probably not… Nadeau in the Ravenswood art district of Chicago is doing the most with their antique-like finds without the hefty price tags.  This isn’t your World Market brand of homogeny, it is unique and hard-to-find pieces made by artisans from India, Sri Lanka, etc.  The warehouse is fully stocked in over 5,000 sq. feet of furniture nirvana and the prices are very reasonable so don’t try to negotiate, the owner will not have it.  www.furniturewithasoul.com
